Stop paying ICS-Fees for your child – GES

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has alerted all school fees paying parents not to pay for International Curricula School Fees (ICS-Fees) for schools that are not accredited on the Cambridge and IB curricula.

The National Schools Inspectorate Authority (NaSIA) released a list of schools accredited to offer the Cambridge and IB curricula in Ghana. [Check List]

GES shared; “If your child’s school is not on this list, you should not be paying International Curricula school fees.”

In addition, the GES has advised all school fees paying parents to check the receipt and make sure to alert NaSIA if they are paying what should not be paid for.

“Alert the Authority immediately if you know of a school charging fees for a curriculum they are not accredited to offer!” GES
